PITTSBURGH -- Jeremiah Jones led four players in double figures with 15 points, and Duquesne pulled away from a 37-37 halftime tie to beat Maine 87-73 on Saturday.
Duquesne outshot Maine from the field 49.1 percent (28 of 57) to 43.9 percent (29 of 66), but the Dukes outscored the Black Bears by 11 points at the foul line.
Xavier Pollard's 3-pointer gave Maine a 33-30 advantage with 5:38 left in the first half, but Duquesne squared it up on Martins Abele's free throws with 51 seconds left.
