MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Karvel Anderson was a perfect 10-for-10 from the field -- including 8 of 8 from 3-point range -- and Russell Johnson sank 11 free throws to lead Robert Morris over undefeated Ohio 84-76 Saturday.
Anderson, who entered the game shooting 38.7 percent from the field, finished with 28 points and was the only Colonial not to commit a foul.
Johnson shot 1 of 6 from the field but his 11 makes from the charity stripe helped him finish with 14 points.
Robert Morris (4-4) led 12-10 before Anderson reeled off four 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to extend the Colonials' lead to 24-10.
Ohio (6-1), which trailed 37-32 at the break, cut the deficit to 77-73 with 1:33 left to play but Anderson hit his eighth 3-pointer of the game to put Robert Morris back up 80-73 and seal the win.
D.J. Cooper led four Ohio players in double-figures with 19.
