MORAGA, Calif. -- Brad Waldow scored 17 points, leading five St. Mary's players in double digits, and the Gaels beat Cal Poly 86-68 Saturday night.
Waldow was 8 of 9 from the field.
Matthew Dellavedova had 13 points, nine assists. Matt Hodgson had a career-high 13 points and Jorden Page added 12. Mitchell Young scored nine of his 11 points in the first half for the Gaels (5-2). Beau Levesque led the team with six rebounds.
Cal Poly (2-3) shot 60 percent from the field in the first half, but St. Mary's led 42-35 at halftime. The Gaels shot 64.4 percent from the field for the game, while Cal Poly finished at 52 percent.
