FRESNO, Calif. -- Allen Huddleston scored 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting including three 3-pointers and Fresno State imposed its will on San Diego Christian in the second half, outscoring the Hawks 45-22 to go on and win 84-49 on Thursday night.
Fresno State (5-3) led 39-27 at halftime but shot nearly 55 percent in the second half. The Bulldogs out-rebounded San Diego Christian 38-23 and forced the Hawks to turn the ball over 27 times. Fresno State had 18 steals, one shy of the school record and the most since the 1998-1999 season.
The Hawks shot a dismal 38.7 percent from the field.
Kevin Dawson led San Diego Christian (3-3) with 13 points and five rebounds.
