BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Jordan Dykstra had 21 points and a career-high 12 rebounds to lead South Dakota State to an 83-52 win over Dakota State on Thursday night.
Dakota State scored first and opened an early 11-5 lead, but the Jackrabbits responded with a 17-1 run and would lead 35-25 at halftime. Dykstra scored eight points early in the second half to give the Jackrabbits a 43-27 lead. Their biggest lead was 32.
South Dakota State shot a season-high 60 percent from the field for the game, making 34 of 56 shots. Dakota State shot 38 percent from the field, making 18 of 47.
Dakota State (7-1) plays in the NAIA.
