OLEAN, N.Y. -- Demitrius Conger scored 15 points and pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds to lead St. Bonaventure over Cleveland State 87-53 Saturday in a nonconference matchup.
St. Bonaventure (6-3) pushed its lead to 40, 77-37, behind a Dion Wright jumper.
The Bonnies tallied their best shooting performance of the season, hitting 30 of 56 shots, including 8 of 16 from 3-point range. They converted 19 of 22 shots from the stripe.
Both St. Bonaventure and Cleveland State (6-4) committed 20 turnovers, but the Bonnies scored 26 points off those errors, compared to 13 for the Vikings.
