SAN FRANCISCO -- Dave Dudzinski had 31 points and seven rebounds to lead Holy Cross to a 73-63 victory against San Francisco on Tuesday night.
Justin Burrell added 15 points for the Crusaders (7-4), who have won the last four meetings between the schools, dating to 2008.
Dudzinski shot 11 of 16 from the field and made two 3-pointers.
After shooting a season-low 34.0 percent against Nevada on Saturday, San Francisco was 23 of 61 (37.7 percent) from the field.
The Dons trailed 52-46 with 14:30 remaining, but Burrell hit a 3-pointer and Dudzinski added five consecutive points to build the lead to 14. San Francisco got no closer than seven afterward.
Shooting guard Jaylen Nowell, ranked No. 45 in the ESPN 100, chose the Washington Huskies on Wednesday over California. As a junior he led Garfield Heights to a state championship and was named MVP of the tournament.
