VERMILLION, S.D. -- Juevol Myles scored 32 points and South Dakota made a school-record 43 free throws in an 85-75 victory against Morehead State on Wednesday night.
Karim Rowson had 17 points for the Coyotes (5-7), who attempted 50 shots from the line en route to snapping a three-game losing streak. Myles hit 15 of 16 free-throw tries and Rowson 11 of 14.
Maurice Lewis-Briggs had 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Eagles (5-6).
South Dakota's free-throw total eclipsed the previous mark of 41 (in 50 attempts) against Augustana during the 1995-96 season.
Brandon Bos had 12 points for South Dakota and is averaging 14.5 points in the two games since he was put in the starting lineup.
With the Suns drafting Tyler Ulis, they now have five guards on their roster who attended Kentucky.
