ALBANY, N.Y. -- Ike Azotam scored 17 points, hitting the game-winning jumper with 14 seconds left to give Quinnipiac a 59-57 victory over Albany (N.Y.) on Friday night.
The Bobcats (4-6), who trailed 57-52 with 3:43 remaining, scored the last seven points to snap the Great Danes' six-game winning streak.
After Azotam's shot, Albany called a time out, then Mike Black missed a 3-point attempt with 2 seconds remaining.
Quinnipiac led for all but 10 seconds of the first half, though the Great Danes scored five straight points to trail 26-24 at the break. Albany (9-3) got within a point three times in the second half before pulling ahead with an 8-0 run, capped by Black's 3-pointer making it 42-38 with 10:16 left.
Sam Rowley scored 15 and Black 14 for Albany.
