CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Anthony Stitt tallied 22 points and seven assists and College of Charleston led wire-to-wire in a 60-51 win over Coastal Carolina on Saturday in a nonconference matchup.
Charleston (5-5) led 26-19 at halftime and outscored Coastal Carolina 27-13 over the first 14 minutes of the second half to take a 53-32 advantage. Stitt, who entered the game averaging 8.9 points, scored 10 during the run, five of which came from the charity stripe. The 6-foot-1 guard hit a game-high seven free throws in the win.
