EASTON, Pa. -- Seth Hinrichs scored 21 points on near-perfect shooting as Lafayette cruised to an 83-66 win over New Jersey Institute of Technology on Wednesday night to end a two-game skid.
Hinrichs was 7 of 8 from the field, hitting 5 of 6 3-pointers, made both of his foul shots and also led the Leopards (6-10) with seven rebounds.
Lafayette made 13 of 26 from long range while the Highlanders were 4 of 23.
Leading 23-22 at the 7:58 mark, the Leopards launched a 13-4 run. After the Highlanders (6-8) got back within six, Hinrichs made a pair of 3-pointers in a 10-1 run to close out the half.
