BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Isaac Sosa scored 22 points to lead Canisius to a 73-64 victory over Marist in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Saturday night.
It was the Golden Griffins' second win over the Red Foxes this season.
Canisius shot 56 percent from the field (14 of 25), including 4 of 9 from 3-point distance to lead 36-24 at halftime.
The Golden Griffins made 10 of 23 from the 3-point line for the game to the Red Foxes' 5 of 19 and won the rebound battle 38-32.
Maryland point guard Melo Trimble, considered a lock to leave the program before struggling in the second half last season, has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return for his junior season.
Louisville's Chinanu Onuaku, who recently underwent a medical procedure to correct a heart rhythm issue detected during the combine, will keep his name in the NBA draft pool.
