Coastal Carolina 61, Presbyterian 43

CONWAY, S.C. -- El Hadji Ndieguene had 13 points and 14 rebounds, and Coastal Carolina used a 27-5 second half run to beat Presbyterian 61-43 on Wednesday night in a Big South matchup.

Anthony Raffa had 12 points, Kierre Greenwood 11 and Badou Diagne 10 for the Chanticleers (7-6. 2-0), who have won three games in a row and the past seven in the series.

Jordan Downing scored 19 points for the Blue Hose (3-13, 0-2), and Khalid Mutakabbir had 11.

Coastal Carolina outrebounded Presbyterian 39-23, including 20-8 on the offensive end, and the Chanticleers' bench outscored the Blue Hose 15-3.

Coastal scored the first seven points of the second half to lead 29-21, but Presbyterian closed to 31-29 on Mutakabbir's 3-pointer at 13:41. Raffa's 3-pointer made it 39-30 midway through the second half, and the Chanticleers expanded it to 55-34 on Greenwood's three-point play with 3:45 to go.
