HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. -- Jack Flournoy and Tyler White scored 18 points apiece to help Northern Kentucky dominate from 3-point range in the first half and go on to a 67-53 victory over Lipscomb on Friday night.
Flournoy hit three 3-pointers and a 2-point jumper during a 17-4 first-half run that lifted the Norse (4-9, 2/3 Atlantic Sun Conference) into a 22-13 lead.
He and White, both freshmen, each made 3 of 4 behind the arc in the first half and Northern Kentucky was 10 of 17 from 3-point range in taking a 44-28 halftime lead.
The Norse cooled off a bit in the second half, finishing 13 of 28 on 3-pointers, but the Bisons (6-10, 1-4) were just 3 of 16 behind the arc for the game.
