Research Notes

In missing all 13 3-point attempts Saturday, UAB ran its streak of consecutive 3-point misses to 42, dating back to Jan. 5. The Blazers missed their final six attempts in that game and then went 0 for 23 in their next game Wednesday. Memphis made just 1 of 12 3s Saturday, as the two teams combined for 1-of-25 shooting from long range. The combined 4 percent is the worst this season, surpassing the 9.1 percent combined for by Syracuse and San Diego State in their November game aboard an aircraft carrier.
