BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Nate Wolters scored 29 points and South Dakota State rolled past IPFW 83-57 on Saturday.
Wolters was 10 of 18 from the field for the Jackrabbits (13-6, 4-2 Summit), who shot 56 percent from the field -- 73 percent after halftime when they outscored IPFW 49-26.
The Jackrabbits ran their home winning streak to 25 games. No. 7 Syracuse, which also won at home on Saturday, has won 34 in a row. South Dakota State's next home game is Jan. 26 against Summit leader North Dakota State.
Purdue coach Matt Painter says players haven't used the fifth-year graduate transfer rule for its true intent.
The dust has settled after players made their NBA draft decisions. Which college teams won? Which lost? Well, Villanova is pretty happy. USC, meanwhile, might not be as thrilled.
The 2017 recruiting class is short on point guards, with Trevon Duval leading only eight prospects from the ESPN 60 who are still available.
