HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Mike Muscala had 25 points and 10 rebounds, and Bucknell pulled away in the second half for a 73-59 victory over Colgate in a Patriot League game Wednesday night, the seventh consecutive win over the Raiders.
It ties Bucknell's second-best 18-game start in program history (the 1983-84 team opened 16-2).
Bucknell's largest lead in the first half was 35-29 on Bryson Johnson's 3-pointer with 1:02 left. Colgate's Pat Moore made a trey to close to 35-32 at the break.
Colgate's Pat Moore's made a jumper to pull within 47-43 at 12:16, but Cameron Ayers' 3-pointer pushed Bucknell ahead 58-47 at the 5:54 mark, and Colgate never threatened.
Leaving early for the NBA is a risky decision. Some players -- Skal Labissiere, Dejounte Murray -- slid in the draft. Some -- Isaiah Taylor, Troy Williams -- weren't drafted at all.
