DES MOINES, Iowa -- Chris Hines had 21 points and made five 3-pointers to lead four Drake players scoring in double figures in an 83-69 victory against Evansville on Wednesday night.
Drake, which shot 50.9 percent (29 of 57) from the floor, including 11 of 20 from 3-point range, took permanent control with a 20-4 run over an 8:07 stretch of the second half. Simons had seven points and Hines had two 3-pointers during the surge.
