INDIANAPOLIS -- TrayVonn Wright had 16 points including four 3-pointers and grabbed seven rebounds to lead North Dakota State over IUPUI 78-40 on Thursday night.
Lawrence Alexander scored 11 points, pulled four rebounds and had three assists, Jordan Aaberg chipped in with 10 points and the Bison shot 57.4 percent as a team including making 15 of their first 24 shots in the first half to take a 38-18 lead at halftime.North Dakota State (16-3, 7-0 Summit) hit 12 3-pointers, out-rebounded the Jaguars 35-22 and had 22 assists. The Bison led by as many as 43 in the second half and never trailed in the game.Mitchell Patton scored 17 points to lead IUPUI (6-15, 1-6), which has lost five straight. No other player scored in double figures for the Jaguars.The Bison held IUPUI to just 31.1 percent shooting on the game including a dreadful 26.1 percent mark in the first half.
