GREELEY, Colo. -- Tate Unruh scored 19 points to lead Northern Colorado over Portland State 67-50 Thursday night, snapping a five-game losing streak.
Northern Colorado never trailed in the game and led 47-22 at halftime. The Bears shot 47.2 percent from the field for the game, while the Vikings shot 33.9 percent. The Vikings outrebounded the Bears 36-34.
Renado Parker, Portland State's leading scorer, only played three minutes due to a tender ankle.
