CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Drew Kelly led a balanced scoring effort with 15 points and Morehead State pulled away in the final 12 minutes of the game for a 75-59 victory over Southeast Missouri on Thursday night.
Jared White hit a pair of free throws with 12:05 left in the game to give Southeast Missouri (10-10, 2-4 Ohio Valley) its only lead of the second half 44-42.
Morehead State (9-10, 3-2), sparked by a free throw by Bruce Reed at 11:44 and a basket by Reed at 11:22, began to take control of the contest that was tied 13 times.
