HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- Shawn Glover and Warren Niles scored 17 points apiece and Oral Roberts beat Sam Houston State 65-61 in overtime Saturday, taking sole possession of second place in the Southland Conference.
The Bearkats (11-7, 4-2) led 26-23 at halftime. The Golden Eagles outscored them in the second half, shooting 54.5 percent, while the Bearkats shot 45.8 percent in the half. At 3:48, the Bearkats were up 51-48 and led by as much as five down the stretch. With 58 seconds to play, Bell-Holter hit a layup to get within one, 55-54. With four seconds remaining, Glover made one free throw to tie the game at 55, but missed the second.
