SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Mikh McKinney scored 26 points and Sacramento State rallied in the second half for a 79-72 victory over Northern Colorado on Saturday night.
Northern Colorado (5-13, 3-7 Big Sky) had a 35-32 lead at halftime and maintained an advantage until midway through the second half, when Sacramento State (10-8, 5-5) took the lead for good on three straight 3-pointers, by Jackson Carbajal, Dylan Garrity and John Dickson.
Sacramento State also had a 22-4 scoring advantage off turnovers.
Ted Kapita was the top-rated recruit from West Virginia in the class of 2015 and recently played at DME Academy in Florida.
With the Suns drafting Tyler Ulis, they now have five guards on their roster who attended Kentucky.
