DAVIS, Calif. -- J.T. Adenrele had 20 points and eight rebounds to lead five UC Davis players scoring in double figures in a 79-72 victory against UC Riverside on Saturday night.
UC Davis shot 56.8 percent (25 of 44) from the floor and made 10 three-pointers, its third straight game with at least that many. Sypkens made four from behind the arc and Les three.
The Aggies took the lead for good on Adenrele's three-point play with 6:45 left in the first half. That was part of a 27-13 run that gave UC Davis a 41-30 halftime lead, and it maintained a double-digit lead for most of the second half.
