HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- Chris Dixon scored 22 points to lead UNC Wilmington to a 57-51 victory over Hofstra Saturday in a Colonial Athletic Association game.
The Seahawks (8-11, 3-4), who trailed 22-17 at halftime, outscored Hofstra (15-5, 2-5) 40-29 in the second half. With the game tied at 37-37, UNC Wilmington outscored Hofstra 20-14 down the stretch. Dixon scored 7 of the last 9 points.
