PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Jourdan DeMuynck had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Jules Montgomery added 14 points as Prairie View A&M held off a late Alabama State rally for a 74-72 victory on Saturday night.
Alabama State trailed by 16 points with 6:28 remaining but was within 73-72 and had a chance to take the lead with three seconds left. However, Denzell McDaniel lost his footing in traffic, and the ball rolled out of bounds.
