COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Jud Dillard had 25 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists to lead Tennessee Tech to a 70-52 victory over Austin Peay on Saturday night.
The Tigers shot 49.1 percent from the field (27 of 55) to the Governors' 40.4 percent (19 of 47), and Tennessee Tech ruled the lane, winning the rebound battle 36-27 and outscoring Austin Peay 37-22 in the paint.
Tennessee Tech led 13-2 on Ogbe's layup 2:52 into the game and kept the advantage at about 10 points. From 28-17 with 6:50 to go, the Tigers outscored the Governors 16-6 for a 44-23 halftime lead.
The closest Austin Peay got in the second half was 51-37 with 11:09 remaining.
