CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Jack Isenbarger had 22 points and eight assists to lead Elon past The Citadel in a Southern Conference game on Saturday.
Elon shot 12 of 32 from beyond the arc, while The Citadel was 5 of 18, which helped offset the Bulldogs' 15 of 22 to the Phoenix's 4 of 6 from the line.
Elon led 38-33 at halftime and never trailed in the second half. The Phoenix pushed their advantage to 64-54 on Troutman's layup with 7:01 remaining and were never threatened.
SMU has signed a second player from Australia, 6-foot-11 forward Harry Froling, to a national letter of intent. The Mustangs previously signed guard Tom Wilson from Australia.
