TOLEDO, Ohio -- Dominique Buckley scored 20 points to lead four Toledo players in double figures as it beat Bowling Green 75-62 in a Mid-American Conference game Saturday night.
On top 54-48 with 7:09 remaining in the game, Toledo went on a 9-2 run capped by Brown's jumper, extending the lead to 63-50 with 2:48 left to play.
A'uston Calhoun answered with a 3-pointer to cut the lead to 10, 63-53, but that would be the closest the Falcons would get as Toledo went 12 for 12 from the free-throw line the rest of the way.
Toledo shot 96.3 percent (26 of 27) from the line.
Jordan Crawford led Bowling Green (7-12, 2-4) with 20 points and seven assists.
