DAYTON, Ohio -- Ray McCallum scored 24 points and Detroit took control in the second half for an 83-76 victory over Wright State Wednesday night in a Horizon League game.
The Titans (14-8, 6-3) trailed 41-40 at halftime but outscored the Raiders (14-8, 5-4) 43-35 after the break. The victory avenged a 64-62 loss to Wright State on Jan. 21.
The deciding factor this time was 3-point shooting. Detroit was 9 of 19 from beyond the arc, including 3 of 5 by McCallum. Wright State, however, was a woeful 9 of 34.
