HANOVER, N.H. -- Rafael Maia matched his season high with 21 points on 10-of-11 shooting from the field as Brown cruised past Dartmouth 62-50 Friday night in Ivy League action.
The Bears (8-9, 2-1), coming off a 76-64 overtime loss to Navy that snapped a three-game winning streak, never trailed and led by as many as 14 in the first half.
Brown took its biggest lead at 48-29 with 12:34 left on Stephen Albrechts' 3-pointer.
Brown outshot the Big Green from the field 52.2 percent (24 of 46) to 43.5 percent (20 of 46). The Bears outscored Dartmouth 28-14 in the paint and had a 27-23 rebounding advantage.
Connor Boehm scored 16 to lead Dartmouth (4-13, 0-3), which has lost three of its past four games.
DeSean Murray, who averaged 20.2 points as a sophomore at Presbyterian, will transfer to Auburn to play for coach Bruce Pearl.
