BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Neil Watson hit each of his six 3-point attempts en route to a season-high 24 points to lift Southern Mississippi over Alabama-Birmingham 79-75 Saturday night for the Golden Eagles' 10th consecutive win.
Southern Miss (18-4, 7-0 Conference USA), which has won 12 of its last 13, shot a season-high 58.8 percent from 3-point range (10 of 17) while making 63.8 percent (30 of 47) from the floor.
Jerrold Brooks added 16 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, while Michael Craig had 16 points and a game-high nine rebounds as Southern Miss won the rebound battle 30-22. Dwayne Davis added 10 points.
