Ahead 63-60 with 5:30 left to play, High Point extended its lead with a 7-2 run, going ahead 70-62 on Weary's layup with 2:29 remaining.
The Panthers went 6 for 6 at the charity stripe in the final 1:01 to seal the victory.
High Point shot 60 percent (15 of 25) and made 19 free throws in the second half, compared to 10 for Presbyterian.
