The Braves won the rebound battle 34-20 and outscored the Tigers 32-18 in the paint and 28-11 off the bench.
Grambling State (0-20, 0-11) committed 11 turnovers that led to 21 Braves points.
Grambling State shot 26.1 percent (6 of 23) in the first half while Alcorn State opened a 41-19 halftime advantage.
The Tigers' shooting improved in the second half and the team pulled within 49-35, but Alcorn State returned the lead to 20-plus points in short order and cruised to the win.
