Davis had 23 points and 12 rebounds and was supported by 19 points from Ricky Tarrant and 16 from Kendall Timmons -- that duo combined to make 15 free throws in 25 attempts, with Tarrant adding nine assists for the Green Wave (15-8, 3-5).
Jordan Callahan added 12 points on 4-of-4 3-point shooting, and now has 186 3-pointers for his career, seven shy of Jerald Honeycutt for the program record.
Marshall (10-13, 3-5) dropped to 0-8 on the road this season.
DeAndre Kane had a double-double for the Thundering Herd with 14 points and 11 assists -- he entered sixth in the NCAA with 7.2 assists per game. Dennis Tinnon added 13 points and 12 rebounds while Elijah Pittman had 23 points.
Maryland point guard Melo Trimble, considered a lock to leave the program before struggling in the second half last season, has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return for his junior season.
Louisville's Chinanu Onuaku, who recently underwent a medical procedure to correct a heart rhythm issue detected during the combine, will keep his name in the NBA draft pool.
Andrew White III will return to the Nebraska men's basketball team next season after removing his name from the NBA draft.
