CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Patrick Miller scored 25 points and Jordan Cyphers added 19 to help Tennessee State hold off Austin Peay 88-82 in overtime Thursday night in Ohio Valley Conference play.

Rhett chipped in 18 points with 7 boards and Robert Covington had 10 in his second game back from a knee injury.Austin Peay (5-19, 1-9) trailed 65-63 with 1:07 left to play but hit back-to-back layups to take a 67-65 lead with 4 seconds left. Jordan Cyphers missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer but Kellen Thornton grabbed the offensive board and converted a layup as time expired to send the game into overtime.Tennessee State (14-10, 8-3) opened overtime with seven straight points, and made 6 of 7 shots and seven free throws in the frame to pull away.Travis Beltran scored 28 points for Austin Peay, which has lost seven straight contests and 15 of its last 16.
