WORCESTER, Mass. -- Mackey McKnight made a season-high 11 free throws in 12 attempts and scored 22 points to help Lehigh kick off the second half of its Patriot League schedule with a 68-61 win over Holy Cross Saturday night.
McKnight was also 3-of-7 shooting from 3-point range for the Mountain Hawks (16-5, 7-1), who won their ninth straight conference road game.
Knutson capped Lehigh's 14-2, first-half run with consecutive baskets for a 19-10 lead with 11:27 until halftime. The Mountain Hawks led 33-27 at the break.
Justin Burrell's jumper pulled Holy Cross within 53-51 with 5:52 left, but then the Crusaders went nearly 4 minutes scoreless while Holy Cross scored six points.
Leaving early for the NBA is a risky decision. Some players -- Skal Labissiere, Dejounte Murray -- slid in the draft. Some -- Isaiah Taylor, Troy Williams -- weren't drafted at all.

The Tar Heels could lose Justin Jackson and Kennedy Meeks after next season. Coach Roy Williams has nearly every top-10 2017 prospect on his board.
