MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Glenn Cosey scored a game-high 17 points for Eastern Kentucky as it beat Morehead State 68-47 in an Ohio Valley Conference game Saturday night.
Morehead State (11-14, 5-6) shot just 21.7 percent (5 of 23) in the first half and trailed at halftime 30-20.
The Colonels shot 60.9 percent (14 of 23) in the second half to extend their lead, and led by as many 24 points.
Eastern Kentucky outscored the Eagles 38-10 in the paint and had a 24-4 advantage on points off turnovers.
No player had over four rebounds for Morehead State, as the Colonels were outrebounded 32-24.
