PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- Terrell Kennedy scored 15 points, all in the first half, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff coasted past Alcorn State 80-52 Monday night for its fifth consecutive victory.
Kennedy just missed a triple-double, finishing with nine rebounds and nine assists for the Golden Lions (12-13, 11-2 SWAC), who kept pace with Southern University at the top of the conference standings.
Pine Bluff led 37-20 at halftime and built the lead even more in the second half, shooting 61 percent. The Golden Lions finished at 51 percent for the game.
