BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Jordan Dykstra had 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds to lead South Dakota State in an 82-45 rout over IUPUI on Thursday night.
South Dakota State (20-7, 11-3 Summit) shot 53.8 percent from the floor, knocking down 28 of 52 shot attempts including 11 3-pointers. The Jackrabbits out-rebounded IUPUI 41-20 and had 17 assists.
Greg Rice gave IUPUI (6-21, 1-12) a 10-8 lead after a lay-up with 12:57 to go but South Dakota State answered with a 33-11 run to close out the first half leading 41-21.
