LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Marcos Knight scored 15 points and Middle Tennessee won its 12th straight game, defeating Arkansas-Little Rock 66-61 Saturday night.
Middle Tennessee jumped out to a 20-8 lead en route to a 28-18 halftime advantage. After the Blue Raiders extended the lead to 15 points midway through the second half, Little Rock rallied to get within 56-51 with 2 minutes left on Will Neighbour's layup.
Six free throws and a dunk by Knight secured the victory for Middle Tennessee.
Both teams shot close to 40 percent, but the Blue Raiders converted 24 of 29 free throws compared to 13 of 22 for Little Rock.
