NEW YORK -- Latif Rivers scored 20 points to lead four players in double figures, and Wagner pulled away from Bryant in the second half for an 89-75 victory in Northeast Conference play Saturday afternoon.
Wagner was ahead 37-34 at halftime, but Bryant led 63-60 on O'Shea's 3-pointer. Wagner put together a 22-8 run capped by Williams' free throws at 1:05 for an 82-71 advantage.
Joe O'Shea had 21 points and eight rebounds, Dyami Starks scored 19 points, Frankie Dobbs 13 and Alex Francis scored 10 with eight rebounds for the Bulldogs (16-8, 9-4), who have lost two straight after a three-game winning streak.
Wins by Robert Morris and LIU Brooklyn, both 10-4, knocked Bryant out of first place in the conference.
Indiana guard James Blackmon Jr., who averaged 15.8 points in 13 games before being injured last season, has withdrawn from the NBA draft.
Isaiah Briscoe has decided to withdraw from the NBA draft and will return to Kentucky for his sophomore season. Marcus Lee intends to transfer.
The Big 12/SEC Challenge will again feature Kansas and Kentucky, this time at Rupp Arena. That's not the only exciting matchup in next season's midseason conference showdown.
