TULSA, Okla. -- Kyle Tresnak scored 20 points on 10-of-18 shooting and grabbed five rebounds to lead Weber State in its 70-66 BracketBusters win over Oral Roberts on Saturday night.
Oral Roberts led 36-29 at halftime but the Wildcats (20-5) responded with a 19-6 run to begin the second half capped off by two Jordan Richardson 3-pointers to take a 48-42 lead with just over 12 minutes to go in the game.
Richardson ended his night with 12 points.
The Golden Eagles fought back, and with 9:20 to go Korey Billbury hit a lay-up to give Oral Roberts (17-11) a 53-51 lead. It was short lived however as Scott Bamforth hit another Weber State 3-pointer to give the Wildcats a 54-53 advantage and they never trailed again.
Bamforth finished the night with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists.
