FRESNO, Calif. -- Anthony Demic scored 28 points and Jeff Elorriaga added 20 on Saturday night as Boise State defeated Fresno State 72-63.
Demic helped Boise State (18-8, 6-6 Mountain West) by sinking 12 of 15 free throws. Elorriaga was 6 of 10 from 3-point range.
Derrick Marks added seven assists.
Fresno State (9-17, 3-10) led briefly in the first half, but could not get much consistent play after that.
Boise State had a 33-26 rebounding advantage, but committed 13 turnovers.
