PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- Davon Haynes scored 19 points to spark Arkansas-Pine Bluff to a 61-45 victory over Grambling State on Saturday night.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff (14-14, 13-3 Southwestern) kept Grambling out of the win column for the season (0-24, 0-15) as Haynes also contributed seven rebounds and three steals.Mitchell Anderson and Marcel Mosley each hit a pair of 3-pointers to help the winning cause. Anderson also had three blocked shots.Grambling got 20 points from Terry Rose and 10 points from Demetri Wheeler. Peter Roberson grabbed nine rebounds.Arkansas-Pine Bluff had a 28-8 scoring advantage off the bench and 34-22 edge in the paint.
