BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Greg Gantt scored 26 points and Stefan Moody backed him up with 25 to lead Florida Atlantic to a 73-59 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock in a Sun Belt Conference game Saturday night.
Gantt hit 8 of 16 from the field and 8 of 9 from the line, and Moody was 9 of 18 from the field for the Owls (13-17, 8-11), who had lost two in a row and five of six coming into the game.
FAU shot 48.1 percent from the field (25 of 52), while Arkansas-Little Rock hit 33.3 percent (21 of 63).
Leading 29-23 at halftime, Moody's four-point play pushed the Owls' lead to 51-39 midway through the second half, and Florida Atlantic cruised to the victory.
