The Bobcats (15-14, 11-6 Northeast Conference) closed the first half with a 23-11 run to take a 36-35 halftime lead after trailing 24-13 with 7:46 remaining. Zaid Hearst scored 13 of his 17 points for Quinnipiac during that run, and Azotam added eight.
The Bobcats pushed their lead to 60-49 on Ousmane Drame's dunk with 8:43 left in the game, and they remained ahead by double figures for all but 26 seconds after that.
