BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Stefan Moody scored 28 points and Andre Mattison added a double-double to lift Florida Atlantic over Florida International 77-61 Saturday night in the Sun Belt Conference season finale for both teams.
Greg Gantt scored 16 and Mattison had 14 points and a game-high 10 boards to help FAU (14-17, 9-11) outrebound FIU 44-28.
Down 31-30 at halftime, FAU opened the second half on a 20-5 run, capped by Chris Bryant's layup, to take a 50-36 lead with 13:57 remaining.
