RADFORD, Va. -- Davon Marshall scored 18 points to lead Liberty to a 73-56 win over Radford on Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.
John Caleb Sanders finished with 16 points, eight rebounds and a game-high five assists for the Flames (11-20, 6-10 Big South Conference). Tavares Speaks also had 16 points and eight rebounds, and Tomasz Gielo pitched in with 10 points.
Liberty went on a 12-0 run that was capped by Sanders' free throw to take a 42-27 lead with 15:59 left in the second half. The Flames took their largest lead of the game at 54-37 when Speaks knocked down a couple of free throws.
Liberty shot 47.8 percent (22 of 46) from the floor.
