North Carolina scored 53 points Saturday, its second fewest in a game in the last two seasons. The Tar Heels entered Saturday on a six-game winning streak but scored 53 points on 61 possessions against Duke. Duke shot 55.1 percent from the field Saturday, its third highest shooting percentage in a game this season, and shot 65.4 percent in the paint. The Blue Devils outscored North Carolina by 10 points in the paint and scored 49.3 percent of their overall points in the paint Saturday, their fifth highest percentage in a game this season.
